Different Viewpoints
   

Traditional approaches to organizational or social change no longer work because they do not take into account that the locus of change needs to consider the culture  not just the isolated individual. Many 'change the world' initiatives focus only on the problem 'out there'. Conversely many personal/spiritual  growth processes focus only on individual evolvement as if that could be separate from the systems or culture in which we live. These fragmented approaches prevent us from considering the whole picture including layers of root causes and diverse perspectives, needed for creating the interventions adequate to respond to current complex social, economic and ecological issues. I.L.I's programs and services support integral transformative changes by addressing the interconnected web of personal beliefs and behaviours, cultural norms and existing social infrastructures.
